Sadly this is not limited to the UK. The United States has similar problems... _________________ Risk Happiness. |

| I live in the UK, and sadly this is a pretty true statement of current affairs in NHS hospitals. My advice to anyone having to stay over night in a NHS hospital is always the same. Take a bad full of food with you, or else you are like to go without, or have to eat disgusting slop not fit for a dog. The slop is usually served half cold too, a nice combination. No doubt the hospital managers think patients should all provide their own food from home? Just as well I had a friend who was willing to bring me stuff in from home, or else I'd have starved too. |
