Sorry, haven't read the article yet, but my first dieting attempts and a phase of feeling extremely crappy - which pretty soon developped into my ED- happened soon after some very nasty bullying.
Sure, I was already vulnerable (what with anxiety, self-esteem issues and social isolation) and there's no certain way of knowing what exactly caused what in an indivual biography, but I do think that's what triggered it for me.

I definitely think the bullying I experienced has affected my eating disorder.
