It's ridiculous. It fat shames. It promotes distorted eating patterns. (Cutting out certain foods, labeling them "good/bad" etc.) And apparently the research behind it is wrong.

Yeah, that is truly a travesty. I wonder if those "physicians" got their degrees off the back of a match-book cover.

There was a Daily Mail (sigh) article a few weeks back that was something like like this.

'Hummus and other 'healthy' snacks have recently been found to be very high calorie. Dieters often consider these healthy, but the truth is that they are very high calorie.'

... if there is one thing I could persuade the media to preach and get everybody to believe, it would be that low calorie is a not a synonym for healthy and vice versa.

I like the comment pointing out Domino's claim that "Under-cheesing is rampant!" Their authority is about as valid...

My most recent favorite foods are mozzarella--not fresh and not a block of rubber, somewhere in between--and the package of feta in the fridge that taste like fresh milk (that sounds odd, but it's good). And my gp, who is not a fake doctor coincidentally, told me to eat them. I hate that they're trying to take away the kids' dairy most of all though. Is sugary juice any better than the 1% milk they're probably currently getting?

What is wrong with cheese? Unless you're living on it and nothing else? (And then the problem wouldn't be cheese but onesidedness).



Yeah, mozarella and feta can be great, especially if you treat them right and mix them with the right ingedrients.


By the way, I don't think that these pictures are disgusting - very unlike this campain and the way it attempts to scare people.

fuck. i just enjoy eating feta by itself. i swear i could live off of that stuff (in a completely non-eating disorder way).

it's also good on... everything. minus warm pasta with red sauce. tried that the other week and was not impressed.

These things make me freaking angry!! I saw one about yogurt the other day, YOGURT! I love both yogurt and cheese and consider them part of a healthy diet. I like the full fat ones too, so there!
