I hadn't known that site before, but it's practically a ghost train!

This.

That's my concern exactly. It feeds into that wish to look sick and may keep others from taking your disorder seriously if you don't look the part.
And damn, I'm so done with wanting to look the part....

Sorry for any unwanted emotions my post lead to. Anticipated that it might cause some negative reactions (hence the trigger warnings), but i assumed that at least some people would find it helpful/encouraging/triggering to get out of that mind set.

I realise it does play into the stereotypes of anorexia a lot, but my intentions of posting it in the public section, was for people who stumble in here looking for pro-ana topics. It's relevance to people who do not have an eating disorder, have just developed one and are looking for things to fuel it or are looking to 'acquire anorexia', who are are easily sucked in by the cult like appeal of pro-ana, is high (at least i believe so).

I didn't mean to imply that anyone who doesn't have symptoms corresponding to this person's isn't ill (i know that you can suffer and even die at any weight), simply to provide encouragement not to let your disorder progress further.. In my opinion, it's the kind of thing that all pro-ana sites should have in a side bar. Let people access what they want, i say, because we all know banning these sites hasn't removed the problem, but at least give both sides of the story. Might encourage some people to get help sooner rather than later.

I'm certain you didn't have any bad intentions and this is a worthwhile discussion, so please don't apologize. The comment was only about the site and am good I learned about it - you can still from a bad example. It wasn't at all about you starting this thread.

Don't stress, i was offended by the discussion. Just thought an explanation for the original post might be appropriate.
