add in the fact that her anorexia was always portrayed as a result of a tumultuous childhood and a mother that resented her for growing up...

I saw this yesterday. It gave me shivers...because I can see the same thing happening in my family, if my ED had killed me. I believe it would have killed my mother, too. This was totally sobering, and made me even more aware that recovery is truly the right path to take.
Sometimes, its unfortunate, but it takes things like this to kick our ass's back into reality
